This little painting is from an area near where I live in central Oregon which is sandwiched between the Deschutes River Canyon and the Crooked River Canyon. This view is looking north down the Cooked River side, with a display of the beautiful Balsamroot flowers that are prolific here in the spring, along with a hint of the river canyon far below.
