Facing Dragons
This painting came through intuitively. Immediately I saw the dragon as representing the challenges we face, whether fear or resistance, or maybe a roadblock along our path. We have all experienced these at times and we need to get creative and assess how to work through and move beyond the challenge. I see the animal figure in the upper left corner as a fox, which symbolizes the curiosity, cleverness, and wisdom that may be needed to work out the best solution. The little creature on the bottom right made me think of a mouse, which made sense when I read that mouse symbolism wants to teach us how to make the most of what we have, no matter how scarce the resources and how tough the environment.
