Illusions of Separateness
Oil & Wax on Kromkote Paper
24 x 29
This conceptual piece is depicting the belief held by so many that we are all separate from one another, which on the surface does appear so. With more advanced understanding we realize that underneath our outer layer of skin and within the consciousness of humankind, we are all connected, just as there can be ice bergs floating in a icey sea that appear as a single ice berg but underneath connected to a much larger body of ice.
NOTE: These oil & wax paintings on paper are fragile and need to be kept flat. It is best to keep them framed or at least supported on or between foam core or matboard. These do very well as long as they are handled properly.
